LS Ohtani position swap

Got lucky and pulled an Ohtani. Started him as a P in 9 inning game vs CPU. He started tiring in the 8th but the game wouldn’t let me move him to RF when I brought a relief P in. Am I missing something? Seems to me his 2 way capabilitiy is what makes him worth keeping in the lineup

Just like in real baseball, when you remove a pitcher you cannot reinsert him.Does not matter if it’s at a different position.You would probably have to do a double switch.

Unlike in real baseball, he can’t play RF or DH the next 4 games.

Wow really? I have 3 versions of him. The cover Athlete this one and the one I unlocked in The Angels city connect program. Dont want to flood my bench.
I thought I heard MLB passed the Ohtani rule that allowed him to stay in the game, but maybe that was only DH.
