Quick pitching

After my last game I’d have to agree, SDS should force us to come set. This is a very annoying feeling, sorry if I ever quick pitched to somebody, it wasn’t intentional

No apologies needed that isn’t the quick pitching glitch.
You realize the ball used to come from the right side of the lefty pitchers body on slide steps yeah? Or the ball would appear after it was 75% of the way to the plate on slide steps? That would be quick pitching, NOT someone being tough to read.

Only time I've ever used R2 in an online game is against quick pitching. If you hold R2 after each pitch... slows them right down.

I did this, also let my pitcher come set to see if the person picked it up too, never did. I guess that person only knows how to play like this, a fast paced game. I’m never bothered by this but today it felt really different.

It was my opponent moving his fingers at the speed of light, I beat the person but it didn’t feel right, usually I have time to lock in before every pitch

I held R2, took some time between pitches and my opponent never picked up on it. Made me feel like I had to swing at everything for an inning or two.

Iam quilt of quick pitching I think, tnx for the notification it helps
There is no thought behind the reason why I quick pitch, it's just something I do cause I play mostly offline, it's a habit I guess
If sds switched balks on in online games problem would be solved, it's part of baseball rules so i don't get why it isn't switched on anyways

Honestly the 3 second thing only once per pitch is a great change. If someone's slide stepping, quick pitching, or spamming a cheesy delivery like Kimbrel's, that's when I'll use it to slow things down. If the guy picks up on it, I'll drop it.

Well iam one off the guys that's picks on, it's easy to tell when someone tries to tell you to slow down or when guys just wanna be an [censored]

They had one event where they forced pitchers to come set a few years ago and everyone went nuts and they changed it. I think trolls have enough ways to delay the game, I don’t think they need to add more ways to allow that.
That being said, R2 is always an option. Them limiting it to 3 seconds a pitch is great. It gives the hitter time to think and process, but doesn’t slow the game down to a crawl or disrupt the pitchers motion.

Put balks on for all competitive modes, problem solved.
