Fielding Badges

So I got Peguero, diamond defense at his primary SS position. In game, it shows his badge as gold. Any reason for that?

Fielding rating has to be 90 or above for a diamond shield.

The diamond rating includes fielding, reaction, arm strength, and arm accuracy. The diamond shield on the field only represents fielding
