When to sell roster investments

I'm a novice but I have a considerable amount of investments for this roster update. They've all planned out pretty well and the silvers have doubled and the golds are up over 1000. So I'm wondering if I should wait until tomorrow and sell the hype, or actually wait for the update.
For those who have experience, what has generally worked out best? Or does is depend on silver/gold/diamond or something? I thought I read somewhere to sell the hype on anything that's not going to go diamond (like silver to gold or low to high gold) and keep what you think will go diamond. But I don't really know.

Previous years have been different. It's hard to say. There's not much of an investment market out there anymore unless you're talking about investing on upgrades.

I am unloading my Devers now. If he goes to an 87 or 88 I'll regret it, but he is already going for low diamond and I snagged all mine up for 1800 to 2000. So I'm making the move now. I am gonna keep 20 though.

By now do you mean right now? I assumed the peak of the hype would be sometime tomorrow, no?
And is it a strategy to sell them off if you believe that the quick sell of their new overall will be UNDER the current buy price?

Yes, this evening I did. Except for 20. I just figured not much else to gain. I was already getting 85 diamond qs value

see what they are going for tomorrow night,for those you arent confident of upgrading or not going up by much more take the guaranteed profit.(and dont be too sad if it goes up higher- you took a sure thing) for those that you think will go up much higher after the upgrade or are still selling under what you think the new QS will be - wait.( just be quick to sell if it doesnt go up as much as expected).
