7th inning slider boost?

I couldn’t buy a hit to save my life due to me missing balls and the game not rewarding me for hitting good. All of a sudden the 7th inning comes then the same pitches my opponent was throwing I couldn’t but a hit on are just getting smashed. When I say smashed I mean I’m making the same crappy contact and timing but this time I’m getting rewarded for it, and the hits I actually should get a hit on I actually get a hit. The 9th inning comes and I get a walk off hr with utley and I wasn’t even on it and I was very early on it, where if I was earlier in the game it would’ve been an out. I feel a lil bad bc I know if it was me I’d be mad but I’m happy cuz I got the win.
After the game ends I look at my last 3 games played. The last game I played I used Randy on LEGEND and I was dotting my opponent up. He was striking out and popping things up and grounding out. The 7th inning comes and he gets 2 back to back hrs. Both of those hr were hrs no matter what happened, all he had to swing and it was a hr. The game before that me and my opponent weren’t getting any hits then the 7th inning comes then I score 4. The game after that my opponent doesn’t score all game then in the 7th he score 2.
Am I the only one that thinks in 7th inning the sliders change to help people score?

It has something to do with keeping your pitcher in even if they're stamina and confidence is high. Of course SDS doesn't explain it and there is a lot of RNG involved so who knows. Is clutch affevted by it? Is it stamina? Is it control? Is it h/9? No one knows because SDS doesn't know. And when I'm talking about clutch rating I'm talking about the hitter as well as the pitcher. Supposedly the clutch rating on hitters gives them some sort of a boost later in the game I believe.

Yes but what does it do? Does it make the PCI bigger? Does it add contact or exit velocity? For a pitcher does it add h/9 to make the PCI smaller? No one knows

Extra contact; before 20, with the former single PCI, it would get bigger. I remember Mooke Betts' PCI would get bigger in 2-strike counts. I imagine for P it improves H/9, but that's just a theory.

Randy might be the only pitcher I will roll with through 7/8/9. Everyone else is on a massively quick leash. I will pull in the 4th if I feel my opponent is getting a read on my starter.
