Why online rated sucks

So it seems every game ive played with real rosters online games my opponents are ALWAYS playing as if they are pitching a real game. Literally take 5 seconds to decide what to throw in which location then uses the stretch and full pitching motion not speeding up one procress. Hitting wise the same never speeds up anything letting every cut scene play. Wtf do they not have better things to do than turn what should be 30 to 40 minute games into 1 hr and 20 minute games?

I'd much rather face somebody that takes time between pitches. In my experience, it's the opposite...people mashing buttons to speed the game up so much it's just not fun. It's so frustrating to have runners on base sometimes because it's just quick pitch after quick pitch, and that is not fun to face.

I guess im just used to diamond dynasty play. I find it unnecessary to watch every in between inning shot of the stadium or every batters pre at bat warm up routine on top of them taking close to 15 seconds to throw a pitch.

That much I agree with. I don't need all the cutscenes etc. I just don't like it when someone pounds a pitch every three seconds.
To your point...it annoys me when somebody pauses when it doesn't make sense, and I can be quite impatient, haha. It's the between pitches where I wish I had a few more seconds to breathe and think about pitches.

The cutscene thing is one of worst things this game implemented. It wasn't like that last year, was it? I played a guy like that earlier. Every cutscene, every batter walkup. Game took forever. I don't mind it every now and then cause i get it, maybe you have to grab a drink, or scratch your balls, thats fine. But every single time?

Or on their phone, with a pause every half inning. No sense quick TO or pause in first 2-3 innings of 1-0 game...

bring back balks. its so annoying having to face quick pitching when guys are on base.

I think SDS combats this by making pitchers a bit more inaccurate when you quick pitch, at least from my experience when i come to a complete stop especially in the stretch my pitches locate a lot better.

So we should all just play at the pace that you want? Quick pitching and slide stepping for literally no reason? That’s ridiculous. If you aren’t ready to strap in and play a full 9 inning game at a normal pace than you shouldn’t play ranked and you should just stick to conquest or BR and events. FOH.
