Title says it all. This is the worst RNG I’ve seen in a show game, ever. It’s a shame. If I lose I’m fine w that but I want to feel as though my input determines the outcome. The RNG in this years version is OOC. Also, can they program some hit variety into the game? HR or bust and pitchers are still Ozzie smith on defense. I feel like we’re going backwards…

19 was decent, 20 was ok, 21 was terrible, 22 is borderline unplayable.

The crazy thing is the game plays great in the offline modes. There’s just no translation to DD, unfortunately.

2 words: Dedicated servers.

I imagine dedicated servers are a large, financial expense coupled with the maintenance for the servers
But I would almost guarantee dedicated servers would drastically improve online gameplay
Crazy they still use the P2P connection where if one players Internet/connection is awful, it has a drastically negative impact on the other players experience
That’s just my hunch, no idea if I’m right but that’s how it’s felt since I’ve played DD online

Do a test. Deliberately strike out in every at-bat and pitch meatballs to every batter. But it will need to be over 100 games to get a decent sample size.
If input is not a factor in a result, then you should win at least a handful of games.
