Is it me? It seems like every single player I face is Babe Ruth. And it’s not one way. I can’t miss hitting. Everything I put in play is a bullet. In fact I’ve ditched normal swings and am using power swing now until 2 strikes. I’m not worried about strikeouts because even when I’m fooled I foul the ball off. Just curious if anyone else is noticing this. I highly doubt I’ve made that much of a skill jump from last year to this year.

Its been the same for a long time. Nothing has changed. The ball physics off the bat have been the same for years. Still I'm going to play because I have fun, but it doesn't feel authentic.

I mean… this depends on the difficulty. I’m batting 400 in ranked right now, but I’ve only played 12 games* (10-2, 1 freeze off I left and 1 I legit lost to 96 David price who made me look terrible most of the game). Events I’m also batting close to 400 but again that’s on all star and the FOTF pitchers are meh, outside of a couple relief guys. Once the pitching catches up and u venture to HOF difficulty you will wish you didn’t post this, lol.

I make it to WS every year so I’m not bothered by HoF or legend difficulties. But AS seems like veteran or rookie this year. At least to this point.

Hitting is dumb easy this year. Heck, you don’t even need to put the PCI on the ball to send jacks out of the stadium. New Timing hitting feels buffed too…almost too much for how easy it is to use, it’s definitely a crutch for players who want to compete with zone players without using zone themselves.

I’ll play the year out to make my investment worthwhile but would like to see some major changes next year. My speculation is that the more the game gets popular, the more they dumb it down to please the average and new players. Gameplay has taken a backseat to money and player retention.

Switch to timing and rely on attributes lol you’ll suck more believe me. There’s only one zone to be considered a “perfect” swing and it’s dependent upon location. Which sucks bc you can pull and push a ball and hit it 95+

HOF and legend are significantly harder this year and quite unrewarding. GLHF

I found HOF to be similar to last year. No two people are the same though.

Well I guess we’ll see but it just seems that hitting has been buffed this year to start. I’m not complaining but will need to come up with a different approach to pitching to combat the relative ease with which offense seems to be created.

I guess this is where I feel dumb because I was way better at hitting last year than l
    This year so far.

I disagree with this it seems balls squared up die and late hits are more rewarding

Certain pitches this year aren't as effective. Everyone is going to tank fastballs anywhere on the plate. The only decent fastball is the sinker and that's just bc it's busted. And they don't let you locate backdoor pitches so you can't freeze anyone. So you can just take until you get a fastball until you play really good players
