They mentioned they are working on a fix in the Jackie stream. I’d expect something soon. Haven’t touched it yet because of this.

I think what he second poster means is this is a common issue that had many posts in this forum. I'm going at a
pace so that by the time I hit the championship, 23 will be out. It's pretty frustrating that people are dealing with this, especially since they did away with the Team Affinity rewards paths, this would go a long way to filling that void, if it worked.I really hope SDS works this out or they'll probably lose a chunk of their offline player base. I get that this is the only baseball game in town, but most people like playing other video games and may just lose interest.

But also in the last update, they said they were fixing issues regarding delays or people not being able to enter mini-seasons games. You would think that meant the unhandled server exception would e resolved, but clearly not. Idk how they can think it's okay for an entire game mode to be unplayable for a large number of players in the 3rd week of the game, without any kind of compensation. Also, the support team doesn't do anything besides give automated responses.

I feel ya. This makes XBox seem more attractive. At least you’re essentially getting the game for free.

Most people like playing games that give them the rewards they advertise. Why would people continue to play this knowing there is a non-unlikely chance it will be for nothing.

This. It’s literally several hours of work they are stealing from people and they don’t seem to care.

This. It’s literally several hours of work they are stealing from people and they don’t seem to care.
I get the vibe that SDS cares more than most studios. But it is disappointing they seem to repeat the same mistakes.

I was actually enjoying mini seasons a lot, aside from the few wins that were recorded as losses here and there. But it royally pissed me off when I played 30+ games just to not be able to play the championship. Plus even when they do fix it eventually I will still probably have to restart the season.

I think they should give everyone stuck in the spot I am the rewards for winning the championship. I've just been sitting here twiddling my thumbs waiting for a fix because I've finished every other offline program/ conquest etc. and I don't feel like playing online yet or just playing against CPU teams.

I was able to play until I got to the Championship Series. Then I got Unhandled Server Exception error. This was over a week ago. I've messaged MLB the Show on Twitter, I've gone through and put in a trouble ticket as well. I haven't heard a peep from them for over a week. What kind of customer support is this? We pay $60 to $100 for this game and there have been issues from day 1. Granted a lot of issues have been fixed with patching, etc. However, as a consumer, if I put in a trouble ticket for an issue, all I get is the generated email back saying it's been created, and hear nothing else at all. That's horrible customer service. Even if I got a "We know there's an issue effecting a lot of players" email, that's something! SDS, come on, you have to do better on this.

They could have saved players countless hours by just being honest and forthcoming. It’s the lack of communication that is the scandal, not the bug.
