Does anyone know a workaround for preventing false losses in Mini Seasons?

Some people have referenced ways to avoid these when happening, although I know some people have had no issues.
I have had 7 of these so far and want to finish the dang program but can’t really afford any more ( and I have no faith in SDS addressing soon).
So anyone who has any thoughts/ things that have worked for them , would be appreciated
