Unequip Socks Equipment in DD

2022 Can anyone confirm if you select the custom Stance socks in DD, you can unequip them?
Previous years I've been stuck w Socks after equipping, and removing/unequiping them. Players would still wear them in games.

I can’t confirm but I’ve heard this is the same issue this year.
