Hitting in this game is the worst it’s ever been.
You either hit a just early home run or a perfect perfect line drive up the middle for a single.Pitchers are absolutely useless and sinkers are the meta. Fielders are stuck in mud and the shift is over powered this year, fielders are forced to be super slow during the shift to make the opponent have more extra bass hits. Every game is super close because SDS implanted the winning probability to impact the success of the other team. Hitting is completely RNG this year due to cross play and profit grabs for more purchases incentives. Skill doesn’t matter in ranked seasons, CPU on the other hand feels silky smooth and responsive.

how can you say the shift is overpowered, then say the shift makes players super slow? Maybe stop blaming the game, turn off auto shift.

For real. Nobody can convince me otherwise there isn’t a comeback mechanic. I’ve thrown a perfect outside slider and somehow the game pushes it right down the middle for someone to mash. Hitting and pitching are both equally terrible and SDS should be embarrassed by how bad it is, but they don’t cause they are too busy counting their money from the whales.
