Pinch Runner in Extra Innings

Can we please get rid of the auto pinch run prompt after half innings? I've been burned more than once thinking I needed a pinch hitter for my pitcher. This pinch runner prompt is really unnecessary.

It took em a while to correct this last year. It will hopefully get patched soon. I'm still POd that they took out the X innings rule in tech test and then put it back in. All because of the stupid DH.

Actually I think it's because the MLB owners and players wanted to keep the extra innings runner after voting to remove it.
I also would like to know why I don't get a prompt to bring in a pinch hitter when my pitcher is up to bat.
