Mlb the show is a terrific game with the exception of last names in the franchise mode when you create a player, well they took out a lot of name like for instance Fisk Wakefield Marks, Clemens, e Bree just to name a few. Which makes creating players less fun. Why they did this is beyond me. I think they got lazy.

My guess is with the new commentary team, they didn’t have the time to do all the names. I have a feeling it was the same way with the first year of the last commentary team where they added more each year.

I get that, but for me, it’s more exciting to create ball players and have their names be announced. Like take the show 21. You can create guys like Carlton Fisk, Carl Yastrzemski, Roger Maris, Alan Embree, Curt Schilling,etc etc.And it makes it more enjoyable to play. But don’t get me wrong I do like 22, just not as much as 21
