XP for Moments
-
Whenever you click on a moment to do, it’s says y’all’s 500 or 1000 XP on the side. Then when you complete the moment you only get like 200 XP. Why is this?
-
The 200 XP is for the actual gameplay, the amount you mentioned first is for completing it.

I get the 200 after I complete it though. For example, Trevor Story moment is to hit a HR. It says 500 on the side. I hit a HR, and it gave me like 150 XP

Yes I understand what you're saying, but you don't understand what I'm saying. The 150 is for actually hitting the homerun during gameplay, and that's what shows after the mission is done. You still get the 500, it just doesn't show in that screen. Write down the exact amount of XP you have before the next mission and you will see.

Oh my bad, so it’s 500 + whatever pops up on the screen. Thank you. Never would have figured that out haha

Yes, it would've been better if they just show the total amount in that screen but it's coded to show just the amount of XP you earned with gameplay and the 500 is a bonus. It is still applied, but doesn't show. But like I said, write down your exact amount of XP before the next mission and then look at it after the mission is complete. You'll see they gave both the XP it shows in the screen and also the XP for the mission.

Ok thank you. I thought I was just getting 200 XP for each moment so I just stopped doing them

the weird part about that is that stub rewards you get for finishing a mission are shown on that post game screen, making it even more confusing

Doesn't make me ill but it's not really my thing. I value my privacy and my peace, being a content creator you give up both.

No OP is correct...the moment completion XP is NOT being awarded for faces of the franchise moments. I can confirm that the only XP added to the total xp is whatever is gained during the moment. The “reward for completing it” xp IS NOT added. I put in a ticket for this but nothing has been stated yet as far as I know from SDS that addresses it.
Also if you back out of DD, and enter in the moments section down below, you will notice it says “all available xp has been awarded” even for moments that are NOT completed. I have not hit the xp cap for the day either so it’s not that. I clearly says in the program menu you should be getting xp for those moments
