Linking accounts?

Has anyone been able to link there Nintendo switch accounts with there other accounts on MLB the show 22? If so, how did you do it? I have my Xbox (main account) linked to my MLB account but get errors anytime I try linking my Switch account in the website. Thanks all! I’ve seen people say they have got it linked.

I did it this morning, now I started on switch and mad it my primary as I got the gamepass version on Xbox.
Before linking anything I cleared all my links then restarted so linked my switch. Then went into the xbox linked the account closed the app then went back in and got the options to select info on the server and I was off an running

You can always unlink and relink with your Xbox as the main account, but you won’t have the progress made on your switch available until they are unlinked again.
I think I read in another post that 21 is being removed from gamepass, so in the long run, maybe it’s better to have the Switch as your main account for 22 in case Microsoft ever removes it from gamepass too.

so if I made progress before linking a second console it isn't available to the second linked console? I have to link them both before making any progress? not sure if I'm understanding this correctly
edit:
NM I think I get it now I have to login to the game and choose what data to use on the PS5 to make it my main account

No, and it would be pointless to do so even if you could. The accounts don't merge when linked. It's basically like one account is looking to the other to see which cards and how many stubs you have. Neither account is overwritten, and once you unlink, the primary account maintains the progress that was made while linked, and the other one will appear exactly as it was on the day the linking first happened. If you're on the same platform, there is no real advantage to linking even if it were possible.
If you have two different accounts on the same platform, you need to just choose the one you have the most cards/stubs with and go from there.
