McCutchen Commentary?

I understand everyone dislikes the new commentary and I can’t help but agree. But, my biggest problem is that you chose mccutchen as a cover athlete and the commentary crew doesn’t even say his name. Every at bat I hear, “now coming to the plate is #22”. I typically don’t even listen to them but I just don’t understand how a cover athlete can’t have his name in the game.

I’ve noticed a few other well-known, established players that don’t have their names in commentary either. But yet some random common that just got added in the game this year has his name lmao.

It’s the same with Griffey. It’s annoying. That Cutch card is great though. Glad we didn’t have to wait long for the dreads.

Correct me if I am mistaken here (and this is not to excuse vanilla commentary): SDS and the commentary crew stated that there will be live updates to commentary, including audio taken from actual games played.
Please, correct me if I am wrong.
