Hidden Roster Update

SDS did a roster update without mentioning it and not having it show up in the game under the roster updates tab.
I know this because I have a spreadsheet with all the cards I have left in the LS collection. Many of the teams the number of cards I have collected and need to collect have changed.

Are you sure it wasn't those players that people were talking about that had no orders and gave an error message when you tried to buy them?
I think Bobby Witt Jr was one. Another was Darren O'Day. And the Scott dude from Philly.

Roster updates in the tab will only include changes overall player attributes w/ 40 man roster changes. As the game hasn't' officially come out and the season hasn't started yet there will be 40 man changes per team before the season starts w/o attribute changes. To say that SDS doesn't mention this is somewhat inaccurate in that if there are changes there will be a mention of it with Roster Update in the upper left or right corner when you first log in after a roster update.

No they definitely did this. I completed the white Sox the other day to get the Ray Durham , next day Kimbrel was a Dodger and Pollack was missing in the white sox set.

Yes, I was tracking how many I had already collected and how many others I needed to collect and nothing to do with transactions.

I have many teams that I had already collected, like the Dodgers, and now they are at 38/40 collected. Of course, already locked it in with 40 before hand, that is not one of the teams that affected me. But, I have others that were affected by it.

Yes, they did it the very next day after early access. When I logged on it said "downloading and applying latest roster update". Remember, as the season gets going they will do roster updates every week regardless if there is an attribute update or not.
That is why I always say, dont lock in those commons especially until you are ready to complete the whole collection for a team. -
There was definitely a message on my console that said “latest roster updated” or “applying latest roster” whichever it usually says, since the Kimbrell and Pollock trade. 1000% sure if it.

It’s true I had all Cleveland Indians err “guardians” completed now it’s 39/40 on the team page

Happened earlier this week too. Trevor Story was moved from SS to 2B which improved his OVR from 83 to 84.. same with Garrett Hampson.

If you go to collections and you have secured the collection before the roster changes, it should still be completed. What the team page says has nothing to do with a collection that has been completed already. New players are always moving from team pages and the 39/40 will happen a lot until you get the new players card. All I care about is that the collection is completed. And if there is an issue that a card is missing you can report that to them.

You are correct, but if you like in, lets say 20 common and bronze, you can then lose those guys you locked in, as new guys take their place. You gotta finish the whole thing.

Insider Edge is being updated but they didn't add that roster update info.

Yeah I noticed that. Because when I saw there was an update I went there to see what moves they made, but it was empty.

only DD updated.the rosters didnt actually change.i was looking at the legends teams and all of the base rosters dont reflect any offseason moves or fa signings yet.
