Just take a minute to think logically:

SDS gets a TON of complaints about hitting and the timing window... it could impact their ability to generate revenue on transactions, game purchases, etc.. Why would they NOT post updates in the patch notes to talk about adjusting the hitting? They have every interest in posting an update like that to generate more interest and revenue from their customers.

They didn’t touch hitting. Nothing to see here.

Brah. Look. I’m telling you as a person who was lining out like 15-18 times a game. I didn’t get better over night. My hitting rewards are legit. Have I lined out??? Yes. But it’s almost like I get why. Something is very different about this game why would I say that???? I just woke up and all of a sudden my contact is being rewarded way better why? Exit velos are higher why? Did they just put my game on steroids so I stop complaining??? Lol

Are you playing event games? Are you sure it's not because this event is in HoF?

Yup that’s definitely what it is and like I said last night while being called “little Billy” and being told that the game was made for “people like me” the game plays better on hall of fame than it does all star

Oh no. I found you again Little Billy. You can’t keep playing these games. Are you lost? Did momma or your developer daddy leave you unattended again?!?

Dang you’re that upset that someone has a different opinion of the game than you? Lol, oh well, enjoy being in the 400s and blaming the game, maybe now that “the game has changed” you’ll be able to compete more 🤷🏽‍♂️

Why is it always about e-[censored] with you? Your "hot take" is always e-[censored].

Of course nothings changed, everything is recency bias “I’m winning games now, this game is the best!”

Calm down Little Timmy aka Ramone’s long lost love child. 👪 Let other people be happy.

I know you’re mad because people are happy that skill is being rewarded now instead of your Cheese.

As always everybody’s opinion on the game is based on if they win their most recent games or not, I’m sure there hasn’t been change to the game but glad you think it’s playing well.

There’s no way they changed anything. Im not at the Ps4 at the moment but I'm assuming its a pretty small download. Its not physically possible to tweak gameplay in a patch that small

Everything about most people’s opinions on this game is recency bias.

@skepple15 I find myself agreeing with you alot. But would it be naive of us to hope for some sort of fix?

Fix to what? Fielding issues? Yes that is something that needs a fix, hitting though? Hitting is fine, yesterday in my 4 games to World Series I put up 9 runs, 3 runs in 2 innings, 9 runs and 13 runs, I would say that we are being rewarded at the plate, I’m slugging almost .900 right now

Just throwing this out there. First game I played yesterday I scored I think 6 or 7 runs. 2nd game with much better input scored zero. Tale of 2 games. Lost both but the first one was on me for not changing pitchers.

15-18 lineouts a game? Is your opponent throwing everything down the middle? Are you taking BP. Let’s not be hyperbolic.

If you’re playing on HOF, the game does play much better with good input. I scored plenty on my WS run, and had a lot more consistency with EVs (most likely due to the PCI size, larger pci’s get weird feedback more than smaller ones). It’s just harder to square things up with the timing.

You’ve been whining your entire time on this forum lol if skill is being rewarded more that’s great, but it was being rewarded well before if you were good enough, some of us were good enough to be rewarded and some of us weren’t, now my average can go from .380 to maybe .420ish, awesome!

I had a game yesterday I struck out my opponent 17 times and got 18 good/ squared, good/good or perfect/perfect contact that only resulted in 4 hits and one run and he won making only 2 good contacts all game and one of them was good/ok and it was on HOF

I guess so. I don’t see how you can line out “15-18 times a game” when playing lol. I played br games yesterday that were 15-12 and quits early in the game when I was up like 7/8-0, I guess I’m just luckier than the people on here 🤷🏻‍♀️

They call it “little billy” syndrome 🤷🏽‍♂️ Because we have good records and don’t struggle with records in the .500s we’re a “little billy who the game was made for”

Though I don’t see the logic in them having poor records and needing the game to change for them to have a better record and then calling us “little billy” if it stops their constant complaining I’ll live with it.

I don’t see the logic either. If the hitting is “better” that means good players will just beat down average players even more because they’ll score more (since they have better input more often than average players).

Obviously it’d be ideal to have input rewarded more, by the way.

I'm skeptical, but maybe just because the sample size is so small still

My first 3 opponents quit. And the ball off the bat is way smoother and better

The pci also looks smaller on allstar.

Exit cells are higher. Game is better trust me.

If 3 opponents quit, then hitting apparently was not improved for them.

WHO CARES ABOUT OTHER PEOPLE?!??!?!?!?!?! As long as the benefits go to the crybabies...

Maybe they'll shut up about it now...or, they'll move on to complaining about something else. It's exhausting.

I don’t see the logic either. If the hitting is “better” that means good players will just beat down average players even more because they’ll score more (since they have better input more often than average players).

Obviously it’d be ideal to have input rewarded more, by the way.

No doubt, if I can finally crack the .400 barrier for the entire game cycle I won’t complain, maybe get my slugging over 1 for the game cycle as well lol but if it get them to be able to hit .290 and stop complaining I’m good with it lol

I really wish this site would ban anyone that uses "little billy". Such a dumb, tired conspiracy theory.

I agree. They always use that term failing to realize most of the people that play this game are over 20 and just want a good game. Hell a lot of the members of this forum are in their 30s
