Pitching Meter Changed?

Ok here me out. Been playing for years and have been using pitch meter forever. Threw the game on yesterday and I walked a ton....im sure it's just me but is there any changes I'm unaware of?

They’ve changed the PAR system; throwing unnaturally will make your PAR bigger, like offspeed high or a slider in on a R/R matchup

I generally use the meter too. Last year it was very easy to use, maybe too easy. I'm noticing a little more challenge in it this year. I also walked a few which I generally never did. But I feel the more I play I'm adjusting to whatever change is there because I'm consistently more accurate.
