Not for me... it’s 1000 times better than yesterday.... timing my swing way better.... even groundouts feel better.

There’s no way they changed anything. Im not at the Ps4 at the moment but I'm assuming its a pretty small download. Its not physically possible to tweak gameplay in a patch that small
Everything about most people’s opinions on this game is recency bias.
@skepple15 I find myself agreeing with you alot. But would it be naive of us to hope for some sort of fix?
Fix to what? Fielding issues? Yes that is something that needs a fix, hitting though? Hitting is fine, yesterday in my 4 games to World Series I put up 9 runs, 3 runs in 2 innings, 9 runs and 13 runs, I would say that we are being rewarded at the plate, I’m slugging almost .900 right now
Well you can expect your SLG% to go up then.
That’s cool, there was no problem with the hitting before, nothing has changed now but if it stops the constant complaints then progress has been made.
I don't complain. I'm just an old dude in Miami trying to have some fun.
I am average at best, but I just wish the meatballs on good pitches will be toned down a bit.Dudes hang pitches all the time, but if skill is vital to hitting, then skill needs to matter in pitching.
There is no worse feeling than hitting my spots on a low and away slider from Chapman only to have it hang for an HR.
BTW, I agree with you on the fielding also. -

It was a small download. What would make gameplay tweaks a bigger download?
Im this patch they only changed like one thing. Doesn't require much data to do that. Changing gameplay requires more data to do. Im not a programmer or anything but I feel like its pretty common sense that the more stuff you change=larger download

I don't know why it would be better for you and not me. I have done the AL West showdown numerous times already to get Correa, Olson and Ohtani from affinities. Never really had an issue. This morning, I've lost the showdown 3 times already having not made it past the second boss. I don't think it's gotten worse, just facing your usual bad luck. But I haven't noticed it being better.

6 straight my approach hasn’t changed. It feels not as responsive as launch but that’s a good thing. But way better then yesterday. The game is def different just look at the exit velos.

That's why I said my losses today were due to a case of bad luck. However, if hitting had been changed I feel as if I would be able to notice it even with bad luck. But I have not noticed improved exit velos on my good swings. It still feels the exact same.

SDS gets a TON of complaints about hitting and the timing window... it could impact their ability to generate revenue on transactions, game purchases, etc.. Why would they NOT post updates in the patch notes to talk about adjusting the hitting? They have every interest in posting an update like that to generate more interest and revenue from their customers.
They didn’t touch hitting. Nothing to see here.

I pray to god you are right. Nothing I would enjoy more then to be able to enjoy my favorite game. I literally wrote a poem for the first time in about 20 years about how bad this game had gotten so yeah there’s that.

Brah. Look. I’m telling you as a person who was lining out like 15-18 times a game. I didn’t get better over night. My hitting rewards are legit. Have I lined out??? Yes. But it’s almost like I get why. Something is very different about this game why would I say that???? I just woke up and all of a sudden my contact is being rewarded way better why? Exit velos are higher why? Did they just put my game on steroids so I stop complaining??? Lol

It’s because you’re on hall of fame now, how hard is that to understand? This event is on hall of fame, the game plays much better on hall of fame
