@Captain_Chegster said in So I took some time to reflect:

I get we are in a pandemic & I cut slack to those affected/suffering from it and those fighting it outside like first responders.

But their team still manages to create “shiny new cards” to keep raking in the stubs $$$$ cash?

They also can work from home or their SDS office, not as first responders in hospitals and in public areas.

You’re cutting them way too much slack here for things they continue to do every year.

Open your eyes people. They know exactly what they are doing - gameplay wise- to keep the cash raking in.

Also, I don't know much about programming a game but I'm assuming it can't really be done from your personal laptop at home..

Exactly, some companies are just better at it than others. SDS always has good content but gameplay is lacking compared to many other developers.

I disagree, I think the gameplay is in a good place right now and I don't know what the company directive is to say they can be making major gameplay improvements

That’s fine if you disagree. Just don’t be mad that you fall into their “majority” category. Many players who understand baseball and know what behaviors/input should be rewarded and punished are not happy with this gameplay.

Good input should be rewarded. If you argue that aspect to online gaming, you have far other issues.

How do I fall into their majority category? because I think the game is decent and feel for the most part that I get rewarded like I should?

It is rewarded though. Not "enough" imo, but way more than 19 ever did.

Well I was more referring to hitting.
But hanging perfect pitches have always been an issue for as long as I can remember.

Not really, 16 and 17 it was on me if I [censored] up analog...in 19 they made it "harder" then again this year dicked with it and now changeups and sliders are meatballs or dirtyballs

Ah 16 was the best for user input as the system was literally marketed as user input matters....then too many gold cards had staying power and 17 changed it to be late be great but allowed you to dot up if you were a good pitcher

18 just [censored] up everything and was a dumpster game (cq extreme was a fun idea and I would like to see some challenging offline stuff for hidden card like that again)

Even if I give you that point, can you please explain how Cod Warzone has not only created a whole new game during this pandemic, but also continues to update their game and listen to their community?

I don't know, every situation during this time is different, every company is different

I’m glad to hear you’re happy with the game. I don’t want to waste my time explaining what good baseball behavior and good skill input is.

I get it. This game is just not for me or players like me who live, bleed, played, and study baseball. Enjoy your game. It’s made for you.

There is loads of offline options to play and always has been, you can edit the sliders however you want and they even added new settings this year.... If you want to play online online play should reward the better players

guy, we all love baseball here, if you want to claim i'm some "little billy" because I think the game is actually decent and a lot of people are finding out that they weren't as good as they thought they were go look up my universal profile..

I genuinely appreciate the recommendation but I only play online games. I love competition and offline is way too easy and scripted for me to enjoy. Thank you though & good luck in your season.
