Adding PS5 Music

Yeah, you can only hear so much of the same few songs no matter how good they are

I hope you can. I had my usb ready to go last year with different network themes throughout the years, only to find out I couldn't do it. I had some really good calls to that I worked on.
I had the FOX, CBS, ABC, ESPN, TWIB, and NBC MLB themes from the 70s, 80s, 90s, and 00s. I also had my local TV themes for the Phillies throughout thier TV history.
I had famous calls from Harry Kalas, Vin Scully, Harry Carey, etc etc...I even had audio and music from movies like Major League, Sandlot, League of their Own, and older video baseball games like Bases Loaded, Ken Griffey JR Baseball, Triple Play, World Series baseball.....
So much work, and couldn't do it.

You can play Spotify as a background app on your PS5. Then lower the game volume settings. I know it’s not the perfect solution but it’s better than listening to show sound track on repeat

Yeah. MP3. I would just look things up on YouTube and download them. Then edit them for time etc etc....

Yeah. MP3. I would just look things up on YouTube and download them. Then edit them for time etc etc....
I’ve tried that in the past and it never seemed to work. If I remember correctly, you needed to convert the videos to mp3 format.

If not I created a Playlist on spotify that has almost every song from prior games. Just search MLB The Show and look for Date Palm Field

Not sure where he got his but I’m sure you could get clips off YouTube. There is a tool that will convert YouTube into mp3 format. At least there was in the past.

The thing is finicky as h e l l. I would always try to upload about 60gb worth of music but it would always [censored] out and only end up with maybe 300 of the songs I put.

I just chalked it up to human error. It wasn’t a big deal but I really wanted to amp up the O’s experience for my RTTS player and the game in general.

I would spend hours in the music editor for walk up music clips.
For some reason I didn't miss it in '21 at all. I did love hearing my own music in the menus, though -
