New PCI feature

Holdin pci in one location prior to pitch isnt stick skills imo.
But if you anticipate an outlier fastball coming up and in, you can now just let the game hold the PCI there and all you have to do is time the swing. Where before you had to both time it and either hold it there manually or move it there, which are both harder to do and require more effort. That's the very definition of stick skill, is it not?

From what I can tell, it won't lock it in the top corner, just starts it a little more toward that area. Not sure how effective it will be....

Either way I think it's unnecessary and it decreases the skill gap.

Think implanted for switch, sure it’s difficult trying to control the pci
-
They really needed to add a sensitivity adjustment tbh. Similar to what rocket league uses
-
just wish you could it preset for every player. gotta click for every batter, it's a nice feature IMO, not helping Newbs etc, i like to leave mine down and go from there and this just makes it more comfortable

Doesn’t seem effective in any way. I’m actually confused as to who the heck is out there thinking this needed time spent on it.
The biggest effect this is going to have on the game is people holding R2 so they can set there meaningless anchor before an at bat.
-
This is good and bad.
Good for people like me who's timing is 'Good' 90% of the time, but I get under the ball so much that it's driving me mad.
Bad, because it feels like cheating a bit.
You can still move the PCI although it's anchored in case a pitch is just off a spot you anchored in.
Maybe they toyed with the idea of a sensitivity option, but couldn't implement it In time or at all? -

I can’t see myself using this feature
-
I wonder if it will be effective for people who always drop their PCI. Lock it in higher always. I think some people will get a lot of use from it.

Same here. I admit I haven't read anything about feedback so I apologize if they have addresses that but that is something that actually needs fixing. They seem to like to create more problems before fixing the ones that already exist.

I don't think this feature will be too much of an advantage for people. I'm not a great hitter and so far during the tech test I've been even worse. I'm not even mad because I feel like the feedback I'm getting is pretty accurate. I rely on pitching and scratching across a run or 2.

This.
I always drop the PCI even when I know the fastball is coming up and in. I set up there, the pitch is coming there….and my PCI is at the bottoms of the strike zone cause I can’t stop jamming the stick down. -
