If servers are better, than co-op mode will be great. If they aren't better, co-op will actively make server problems and connections worse. As for mini seasons, we don;t know enough about it yet for me to comment

I think co-op will be great but they absolutely have to get rewards in asap or it will die

I disagree, it should definitely start out as a casual mode between friends. To add rewards requires them to figure out quitting issues and potentially matchup rigging, let alone determining actual demand for the mode (which I a, not sure is actually that big once the novelty wears off).

I agree they have a lot to figure out with the points you made I just worry If there’s nothing to play for them they won’t see what the true demand for the mode is. I think when they do add rewards it would have to be something like the BR program

Rewards are gonna be tough. Do all 3 players get the rewards even if one player is terrible the entire run? Does only the captain get the rewards? On top of that if high demand card are locked behind a co op mode a lot of people are gonna be pissed. I feel like if they did rewards it would have to be just packs or nothing too amazing

Isn’t that the opposite. Without rewards we will see what the real demand for the mode is. Adding rewards will bring in tons of people who don’t like the mode, but just want rewards.

Wow it’s like you finally figured out the point of DD. Sorry nobody will want to listen to a person do nothing but complain playing coop

DD is about grinding to unlock cards or packs though… why spend hours on a mode when I’m not earning anything? Me and my buddy are both still very excited to play but agreed on ranking up our squads until there is a reward program available.

This is just my personal opinion on how to do it. You make it an entry and they would have to track individually. Like say I go 4-1 with my buddy but the next day I’m playing with someone else I’m still 4-1 but he might have a different record. So individually earn the rewards but still play as a team. I’m not sure how else they would be able to implement it

I don’t feel like there needs to be special cards only earn able through co-op. But could make it have the same rewards as ranked seasons but instead of the ranking make it locked behind so many wins. Or like BR if you go 12-0 get a high diamond or 9 wins a low diamond. Or packs nothing too crazy. Just some incentive to actually play the mode.

If the future of this once great franchise is to sacrifice intrinsic rewards for more extrinsic ones, then God help those of us who play for fun.

Everybody plays games, even DD games, for their own reasons. Intrinsic rewards are still a thing for some people.

Why do people spend 1000 hours a year playing every pitch of their franchise? Why do some keep batting and pitching difficulty on Legend even though they lose 70% of their games? Why do some refuse to skip cut scenes in RDR and GTA? Why does The Last of Us make even the most steel-hearted gamer shed a tear?

No rewards in any of those.

Some people just play for a challenge, or to enjoy a game, or to get better at it. Rewards are just an annoying pop up for those people.

That’s fine if you don’t care about dd or rewards there’s a play now mode for it. But in a game mode where I have to build a team yes if like some rewards for playing.

I don't want to rely on random people to help me get said rewards though. Co-op is a cool idea, but I don't think it should have rewards. You would either have to either force your friends to play the mode with you or play with randoms. That doesn't seem like a good way to hand out good cards. Also there isn't rewards in custom leagues with DD cards, what would be the differenerce if this did not have rewards? The people that wanted a mode like this just wanted to play with their friends, not to just have an extra mode with rewards

If they make it the same reward path as ranked seasons or br couldn’t you just play that solo and get the same rewards? People definitely want rewards for the extra mode. So you’re ok with playing BR with no rewards? Just play it because it’s fun. How about ranked seasons?what if they took away rewards completely and you had to Buy everything would you be ok with that?

Isn’t that the opposite. Without rewards we will see what the real demand for the mode is. Adding rewards will bring in tons of people who don’t like the mode, but just want rewards.

DD is about grinding to unlock cards or packs though… why spend hours on a mode when I’m not earning anything? Me and my buddy are both still very excited to play but agreed on ranking up our squads until there is a reward program available.

If it was the same reward as ranked, then whatever. No problems here. I just don't want separate rewards for a mode that will undoubtably have less people playing then the current 3 online modes

Ya I can agree with that. I don’t think they should have rewards that force people to play it.
