One thing is that they couldn't do the live series collection since teams don't have 40 man rosters until the lockout is over. I wonder how they would at least do that.

Good question because I guess guys like Correa, Freeman and Kershaw who aren't signed yet would technically be free agent live series until they are able to sign somewhere.

Kershaw is not on the dodgers roster but they still have a 40 man roster listed
Technically then he should be in the FA roster. But I HIGHLY doubt SDS released the game with all those big name players as FAs. Would totally screw up the LS Collection as those Diamonds would be worth quite a few stubs.

That is true and agree, I would be worth getting live series completed faster this year if this is the case

I would assume the still free agents that will start out as diamonds (Kershaw, Jansen, and Freeman) will remain with team from last season until they are signed by a team. The gold players would most likely stay with last season's teams as well because they have a big impact on the LS collection in the beginning of the year. The rest could probably be put in the FA pool.

I totally forgot that they have to create a 40-man roster in November to protect certain players from the Rule 5 draft.
