I've been told that for the last couple of years SDS has done a early release if you pre-order the new game.
I'm assuming that everything except Ranked and an Event would be available during that timeframe; as allowing people who pre-orders would gain an unfair advantage playing those modes a few days earlier than others.
Let's assume they keep everything the same (content wise) when 22 is released
What mode(s) would a second year player benefit from playing during that time?
USA Conquest Map? Could get a head start on that.
Ballplayer? If they keep the same format; those extra days could help get some architect builds started.
Just flipping? Pretty sure the first few days the market moves like crazy.

If you pre order a certain version you get the game early. Everything is available because you pre ordered it. Not an unfair advantage if you pay for it. DD would be the best mode I am assuming. This past year you could have argued RTTS Ballplayer probably.
Market will move 10000X faster than now thats for sure. None that you listed would be bad.

So, Ranked is available and they also have an Event early release?
I'm also assuming that the first 1-2 months is the best time to actually buy packs?

Not positive about the events. But I do believe RS is going on from the get go. Packs just depend on economy. Trout was 350-450 K most of year at the start. Then by September he was 150k. So it just depends.

Thanks. As for packs; I meant it could be the best time to buy and sell off what you get as I assume other levels of cards (Common, Bronze, etc) may be at a premium.

1st couple weeks, but 21 with the xbox players packs became not worth it in a few days. we ll see for 22, gamepass yes or not will affect it greatly.
rule of thumb for packs early in the year- as long as most bronzes are above 300 and most silvers are above 500 then packs are worth it. not so much when they go under those. -

When you preorder everything is live: RS, events, and br are all going on during the early launch. Most streamers and elite player will have the LS collection complete by regular day launch. It’s not an unfair advantage, it’s a marketing tactic to get people to purchase the higher end versions of the game and it’s smart business. Maybe next year they will not have the server problems they had this year but I wouldn’t hold my breath.
