Anyone else having a hard time hitting?

I haven't made it to HOF yet but I honestly haven't had a problem on AS. Granted Im at 590 after starting RS 2 weeks late but I haven’t faced Kluber or Newhouser in ranked yet. I couldnt hit my last game because my opponent decided to use the ol Chris Sale at Oracle park with white jerseys during the day cheese, but I still won somehow. Should reach HOF difficulty tomorrow or the day after though so I can give a better opinion then

Hall of fame is a hugeeeeee step up from all star this year. It’s not like years past. The difficulty jump makes no sense this year.

It's the same old song and dance as last year. Good squared ups are lineouts and warning track fly outs while late timing and weak contact ends up in blooper singles. Outfielders misplay fly balls and hit them in the face, infielders bobble balls when it really counts especially with diamond Fielding. Pitching input means absolutely nothing on meter and analog. All they did was tweaked the game for early launch and let us have a weekend full of fun. Once the game became public for everybody they patched it back to last year's game. Year after year they fool us with shiny new cards. This game is going to be a shitshow when it is on all platforms. This company cannot even handle one platform now they will have multiple it is going to be a terrible experience and one that I probably won't come back to.

Played an event game like an hour ago and had about 15 good/good good/squared up and perfect/groundball feedback. All were outs. Game goes into the 4th inning tied he hits 3 straight home runs off of my pitchers lol. This game pisses me off a lot haha.

You and me both brother. At this point I actually despise the game, don't want to hit with Directional and can't stand to see Little Billy playing outfield and watch a ball land right in front of him. So let me ask you if you were a company that sold a million copies of a product and it was liked by the masses say 900,000 people and disliked by 100,000 people. As a business man who would you cater for continued business and more success? I think I would cater to the 90% who praised me wouldn't you? If the stiffs are so good that they are in WS every season/year won't they be there anyway? So why do the rest of anti geeks have to suffer playing a game we love too? I say take of care us masses. We are the ones that are going to spend on microtransactions because we are playing a game that fun not broken all to he// after two weeks. Sorry for the rant but I currently DGAF.....we will monitor....monitor your screw up fellas

Never had a worse stretch than right now. Hitting is difficult. In 700 and above and even in all star. You’ll still have fluky games where your team goes off. But for the most part, hitting feels terrible. And the games where I’m having good input, seem like the ball goes right to someone or I don’t get rewarded for it.
I hate to be that guy, but it does almost seem like you’re playing against a predetermined outcome.
This. Hitting is not as fun as when it first came out. My solid hits are not being rewarded but my opponents weak contacts are spraying for hits. I’m always facing 99 Kluber high sinkers against my Oswalt. Then my pitcher with solid command and perfect/perfect input is constantly hanging up meatballs for bombs.
It’s just not fun anymore so I’ve been taking my quarantine time over to COD Warzone until they fix it.

I’m legit having more trouble since patch 1.05 than I ever have with this game. I’m either in the worst slump of my history with this game, or something is off.
Even if I get good placement and timing, it’s still coming back good/okay.
Hitting has never felt worse than right now. I always thought 2018 was the worst hitting experience with the Show, but this is worse than that.
How can a game that had people so excited at launch become so bad...
Fix this SDS. Don’t even feel like playing anymore.

People will forget about it once they have a little twitch stream with “new cards” and twitch drops.
I am done with this game and will not spend another penny until they bring back the hitting when I first bought this game.
All that skill will be rewarded this year was bs once again to get our $$$$.
