I now see that you can get about 5K in XP per Moment for a total of 45K.
However, when I just finished one it gave me 6K. 5K for completing it and 1K for attempting it.
Does anyone know if the 5K per completion is calculated like the XP you get for completing Collections, Conquest Maps, etc; thus not counting towards the Daily XP Cap?
Or will it go towards the daily cap?

Yes, the 5K is a reward. The cap is for game play (the 1K you got goes toward the cap).

Ok, so it's more like the XP you get for the Extra Inning and Daily missions?
It will calculate on the After Game Screen but won't calculate towards the cap; which is different than how the Conquest, Showdown, and Collections are just added but not shown?

Oh interesting, yeah I wouldn't think it would count or you'd hit the cap pretty quickly. But as my boy @dap1234567890 says, it's a reward. And don't worry about the CAP. You saw how easy it was to finish the inning early (assuming you have the grind time) without hitting the cap.

Random observation but on the moments. Every player featured is facing his old team except for Scherzer who they have facing the Braves. Weird. Totally useless info but thought it was odd.
