Is Battlefield 2042 worth buying?
I used to dabble with Warzone from time to time but with this new map and update on Warzone, it keeps crashing my PS4
That being said, looking for a new game. I’ve heard good and bad about BF 2042, should I pull the trigger?

I'm a huge BF fan, and while I can't comment on how 2042 currently is, I'm waiting a bit before I buy it. Lately battlefield games aren't good until a bit past release date when they finally sort out all their stupid issues.

Buy what ever you want. If it’ll keep you entertained for a bit I say go for it. I’ve grown tired of FPS myself, but some people still enjoy them.

I’ve enjoyed past Battlefield games but I’ll probably wait like eatyum mentioned, but still tempted nonetheless

Huge Battlefield guy, been playing since BF2 modern combat on original Xbox. This isn’t only the worst BF ever, it’s easily one of the worst AAA releases I’ve ever played. I’ve never been more disappointed in a game my entire life, Cyberpunk comes close, but I had no connection to that, I love battlefield, so it’s truly disappointing how bad it really is. Not just the unfinished product, but there is no balance in game either. Buy when it’s 20$ it will be very very soon, especially with Caldera dropping today, it will take a special type of BF fan to pretend that game is superior to anything out right now.

Since the update for Warzone yesterday, it’s literally unplayable unless you have a PC

I actually really enjoy the game itself, but there are bad balancing issues with vehicles especially, and not enough content in the all-out warfare section. I’m a battlefield guy so I’m biased, but it’s fun to mess around in the game and if you want to be competitive you can be. However, if you have a ps4, I couldn’t recommend it. Even on the ps5 it’s tough to run

Was that just during the 24 hour downtime? I have a PS5 and it worked pretty good all night last night even thought I heard it wasn’t going too. I hadn’t played WZ in over year but hackers aside it’s a hell of a game

So there was an update today and since then, it’s played pretty smoothly and no freezes
The new map is nice and enjoy the new weapons. I’d recommend
