Ok, say you JUST got the game today. What would you do first?

All the Moments to get them out of the way.

    Or All the Conquest Maps?

And if you choose Conquest; which maps would you do first? TA or the Special ones?

    Just curious.

I'd use whatever cards and stubs you start to build a team and start grinding the easy Conquest maps while also getting points for TA 1-5. TA is the quickest way to build a solid squad and Conquest is a perfect platform to get the innings and missions

Anything you want. If I were giving advice to a day one player at this stage I’d say just play. Play and try every mode out. I’d try to knock out TA’s and don’t worry too much about collections. The TA’s will fill a lot of those cards in for you

Post season program and team affinity conquest maps. That would get you some great cards to run out if the gate with.

I would start out with team affinity/conquest. Being that a new player probably wouldn't get Griffey unless they really knew what they were doing on the market I would do Topps now moments next and sell every last card. There is probably 2 million stubs just from the amount of Topps now cards. Team affinity+ 2 mil stubs and you are set

That's an interesting take. Which makes me wonder how many non-sellable cards are available per set?

I know that if you want Griffey you can only skip one of the sets; so if you sold off all the TN cards; you would definitely not be able to get him as you would forfeit the TN and MA vouchers.

You definitely could not get Griffey if you sold off the Topps now cards, but like I said, at this stage in the game unless you knew what you were doing on the market, starting from scratch likely gets you no where close to Griffey anyway. As of now the Veteran collection is quite literally impossible without the early inning henchman like Veteran Killebrew and the others, and there is no way to get one of those as of yet.
