Does this normally happen

I was opening a TA1 henchmen pack about three months ago. I accidentally choose Thome twice, and I forgot Sizemore. I don't think anything of it at first. Then, I submit a ticket after the Griffey collection drops. Not only do I get the gold Sizemore, but I also got the 97 Milestone Sizemore. Is this normal?
