Why would the collection reward change whether you like getting screwed by the CPU’s players?

Because, chances are we're going to need some of the cards that I haven't acquired yet, AS Mad [censored] for example, and if the collection reward isn't a 99 Griffey; I'm not wasting my time doing Moments where user skill doesn't matter and are based on a coin flip or roll of the dice.
Also, if it's not Griffey that means that we'll probably be waiting until at least next Inning for him, which won't drop until close to first/second week of Dec.
I'm not waiting that much longer for the only card I want right now.

My game play is coming to a crawl. Did everything besides grind out extra innings. I’m at 200 for this inning. I turn the game on catch up on my daily moments and daily program xp then turn it off.
I have all these wonderful cards and no desire to really play. I tried an event game last night. First time ever the game didn’t screw me, my controller lost connection and I couldn’t sync it back up in time before my timer ran out. I was done after that.
All it take is a minor inconvenience for the game to go off for the day. I’m trying to psych myself for this next collection but I need more content to keep me motivated. Unfortunately we are at the end so not much content left.
It’s been a solid year. Almost 8 months on one game. I can’t complain.

I actually do not want Griffey to be a collection reward, and for the same reason. I would rather have him a tenth inning boss because it would take me longer to do the collection.
