Price of expensive diamonds as the game comes to a close...
-
When less people are playing this game, will some of the prices drop, rise or pretty much stay the same? Trying to remember my freshman economics class...I know there will be less demand but I imagine there will be less supply...less everything as people stop playing.
Any thoughts? Thanks.

Only time there will be that much more less plaing 21 is when 22 is released. However prices of these really expensive cards will eventually go down as more players are getting them & then trying to sell them. They will all start going into a bidding war trying to list a price lower then the current price. Only the cards which are rare for so many to get will stay relitively high. But once there are too many Hershire's, Gehrig's, Wagner's out there. The bidding war then begins to sell them off.

That all depends on how many people are playing ranked and events, honestly I rarely touch RS anymore.I might make a run for Hersh later in the season, but as of right now I am not impressed with how the game is playing online so I will probably just focus on the next BR program. I am sure there are still plenty of people playing online events and RS but I think you will see the prices increase later in the year.

Usually, the really high-end expensive guys go up a bit slightly and the rest go down or stay about where they were. For example, I'd imagine that guys like Billy Wagner, Aroldis Chapman, Kenley Jansen and some of the better pitchers will continue to rise.

That's what I was thinking. I'm only missing Hershiser and Chapman and now Eckersley as well. But my buddy had held off on buying a ton of of the mid priced guys like the bosses he doesn't have, yelich, Verlander, Ricky etc. And he just acquired 7M thanks to Gallegos going diamond so he wants to know if he should wait or start buying.
