Whats up with the fastball

For some reason the past couple weeks I have not been able to see the fastball as well [censored] previous times.
I have a 1ms gaming monitor and it use to come in so crisp and I was hitting the fastball so well

Idk. You probably already checked your screen settings and what not. I have not been experiencing that problem. I played a few games online last Saturday and if anything I was to early on a lot of fastballs. So

I can’t hit a fastball to save my life lately. It’s pretty insane. I’d blame lag or something but it’s constant and off speed I’m typically fine on.

I used to be early all the time.
With a gaming monitor, is it better to be at a lower resolution?
I have my settings on xbox set at 1080p 120hZ

For some reason, I've had trouble hitting good fastballs and sinkers lately too. Not usually the case. I just chalked it up to how I've been feeling overall and not the game. But, for sure, I have not been as good lately as I usually am against fastballs. Like, no chance even when I know it's coming and I'm gearing up for it. It's amazing how often I've said, "How did I not hit that," after pitches lately.

Yes!!! Me too!!! I'm like "what the hell??" This is making no sense!
It's the lag. Played some all star games tonight and getting blasted by 94. Had to wait for 3 innings and pick up tendencies and off speed pitches. It gets worse when players leave.

IMO it's SDS the lowered the timing window & that is what is mostly contributing to being so much harder to hit FB's that are 98+ MPH. Makes it harder getting a PERFECT timed swing. Most of the better players at best will be just slightly early or late & every once in a while get a PERFECT.
In regards to seeing it coming. IMO it depends on the pitcher & his BREAK attribute. The higher his "Break" is, then the more his FB is less visible with its trajectory.

Played 11 games of the event this morning (10-1) and don’t think I got one hit off a 102 fastball (and saw a lot of them). Thankfully other players gave me enough off-speed to do some damage

This game just gets more worthless as time goes on. Continually matched against players near the servers and I am throwing slow pitch softball while getting blown away by 94. People turning on 102 like I am setting it on a tee. Played some HOF games and it is just MISERABLE. Hard to compete when you have 120 mph wiffle balls against Sunday slow pitch beer league.
