Which cards got worse or significantly better once you paralleled them?

I just got Rickey Henderson 99 to Superfractor and he’s now bananas. And why am I so fired up that I’m the 24th person to get to Superfractor and his number is 24? I think I need a life.

Sig Longoria, LS Trout, MA Ohtani got better. TA 2 Thome was a monster on his way to P5, but tanked. POM Buxton seemed to get worse as well.

I'm confused. How can a player get worse at superfractor? All the states have been upgraded by 5 points.

They dont. It is just that user isnt hitting as well with the card as they were. Or maybe they are hitting better but just not finding holes, who knows. Statistically 5 points probably isnt gonna make a difference one way or the other, but it definitely isnt gonna be the reason for less production.

I could see that being a problen with a pitcher with his BRK attritute increasing & maybe changing drasticly his breaking stuff that the break & trejectory being able to be easier read & picked up on by your opponent.

Maybe it's a subconscious thing. The player's brain might be saying, "Yes! My superfractor is complete and now I'll hit like a god with this card." The expectation that some players might subconsciously set themselves up with might cause a low performance?

It seems that for some cards, too much power can lead to more pop ups than line drive hits.

I don't think that power directly leads to more pop ups. Pop ups are caused by poor contact, which can be further increased by poor PCI placement. From my experience, anyway. If I hit a shallow fly or infield pop-up, it's usually from me getting way under the ball or just taking a garbage swing in general.
