Just started playing The Show a couple months back, completed all the TA, player programs, Mookie, Chipper etc and feel good with my team, bought some stuff I needed and wanna start online. Where’s the best avenue to begin to start unlocking some of the “online exclusive” cards so I don’t have to spend a ton of stubs.

See what card rewards there are in each online mode. If you see a card you got to have then I’d shoot for the online mode associated with that card. Also I’m not sure how often you play but if it’s not a ton you might want to only attack one mode. Either BR, Event or RS.
BR. Yes there is a stub fee, but you get a show packs and if you can muscle out some wins you’ll make your stubs back or close to. 3 inning games. Get to try out a lot of cards that you wouldn’t normally. BR also has a built in program progression. So you can grind missions at the same time as playing.
Event is free. Again it’s most likely 3 innings as well. This one is pretty casual and losses don’t effect your online record.
Ranked season. if you want to put that nice squad to use that you built up this is the mode you’ll want. You can obtain WS two ways. One by being good enough to get your season rank up to WS level or two, by fulfilling the win requirement for WS reward.

BR is probably the easiest and quickest way to cash in on good rewards or even stubs if you decide to sell what you get. As long as you can win a few games each entry you’ll be good. Also there are missions for certain players that are easy to grind.
