What’s With Hitting?

Let me add to the growing amount of people frustrated with the current state of the game. Seems way to easy to hit and score. Every event game I play, my opponents ERA is in the 6.00s and 7.00s, same as mine, and when I look at RS standings, it shows the same. I definitely do not have the patience to sit through a 7-6 events slugfest, getting my brains bashed in is not my idea of a good time. My personal take, some people enjoy the home run derby we are in. I, myself, am hoping for a patch.

RS doesn't feel like the HR derby it was at launch, but Battle Royale and events are certainly launch pads from my experience. I like the way the game plays right now in RS, and I was one of the biggest complainers about the game prior to this patch.

I’ve only played events cause I’m 11 wins from Felix, but I cannot get there. Time to switch to RS. Hopefully the gravity is turned on over there, and the ball stays in the ballpark. Otherwise, it may be RTTS for me this year.

I agree with the OP. My last game I struck my opponent out 15 times. He/she had 5 hits. Three of them still haven’t landed.
