How To Get Rid Of The Pitching Meter????????
-
Hey, there, fellow MLB The Show players! I've got one question:
How do you get rid of the stupid pitching meter??? I've just got the basic version of the game so....if that has anything to do with getting rid of the pitching meter, I'll have to wait until I can afford a pricier version of the game.
Any help would be very appreciated!
Thanks,
Tony Trout -
I honestly can't tell if this is a troll or not. If you just want to press a button and pitch switch to classic pitching in your settings
-
I'm not a troll. I've got four of the MLB The Show games and play them as much as possible. I've been a big baseball fan for many years. My real name is Tony Trout and I'm from NC.

I think he thought you were a troll because most people have played around even a little have found the options settings. I've only ever bought the basic, cheapest option for the game, so that shouldn't have anything to do with your options.
Go to User Settings > Pitching (use L1/R1 to toggle between batting/pitching/fielding) > Pitching Interface.
Classic = buttons with no windups
Pure Analog = uses both joysticks, with windups
Pulse = don't even bother
Meter = uses the left joystick for location and buttons for release with windupsYou can also go to Options Explorer under Mini Modes to play around.

The "Pulse" meter is what's annoying me, I think. I wish that SanDiegoStudios would get rid of the Pulse meter in the game. They should know by now that players of "The Show" want the game to be as close in playability to a real MLB game.....and that includes NO PULSE METER!
Take Care,

Take Care,
Tony TroutWhy the actual [censored] would you care if people use the pulse meter? Wtf?
-
You know I can not manually field a baseball so using your logic I'm going to call for them force everyone to use auto fielding.
-
After "playing around with the options" in the game, I found the best setting to use that doesn't show the "Pulse Meter".....thanks to those who gave a bit of help to me. I very much appreciate it.
