Sux to hear man. The offline stuff is most fun for me cause you get to mix and match players so these programs are soooooooo much fun. But when we don’t have offline stuff to grind I need another game. Nothing wrong with it just can’t keep my baseball excitement with just online play. Boring af cause it’s the same sht over and over

It's just like anything else really have to make a plan and execute it so your mind is set on the task

One day extra inning mission and all you do is play extra innings, maybe sprinkle in players that are helping progress stat missions

    One day events

    One day conquest

    One day moments

If you know what your focus is its way easier cause you aren't worried about anything else

You went from grinding 2 different accounts, to not wanting to play. I would say that you might be burnt out due to the over the top grinding. Probably inevitable.

@x814xmafia_mlbts said in Don't know how you guys do it:

I just his 350K for the program and I'm burnt out.

Grabbed Pedro and put in buy orders for Brett and Kemp.

Only needed 50K to get Pedro and I did the Damon Program and played a few Conquest games with TN players to get the 30pts in this month's POTM Program so I could get the 3 players for the collection

So much stuff left to finish (haven't sniffed TA4, still have this programs Showdown, Triangle Conquest, Cepeda program (when it drops), FOD Program w/Conquest, Shark Map, this months TN Moments, and one or two other Player Programs, plus whatever is released the next 13 days) and have no will power to do them.

I'll still log in for the Daily Moments, even though I have no use for CY, but I think I'm taking the next two weeks off.

May change with the next inning; but who knows. I think this game has run it's cycle for me.

Not complaining, as there is still a TON I need to do, I just don't think it's fun anymore. More 'work' than anything.

Again, not a complaint post. Just coming to the conclusion that my video game days may be coming to an end.

Man, since I got a PS5 in July my gaming desires and especially trophy hunting has slowed greatly. Thought I'd never say that. I got the Plat for F1 2021 on PS4 this week and it didn't feel like it used to. Even with all the free PS5 upgrades, things have slowed for me.
I still play this a lot. I got the free Madden trial but don't want to play! It is weird!

You don't need to do it all man. Just pick the things you like. I don't have a ton of time so I usually try to grind the highest reward stuff and play online games when I can.

Different players get different things from the game. Whether it's working the market or playing offline stuff, I like a mindless grind while I'm watching a game or binging a show on another screen. Good way to zone out and relax for me as long as I'm not doing an 8 TB moment. It's nice distraction from the stress of my every day life as a hearthrob international secret super double agent spy I've said too much devs please delete this.

Thanks for the replies everyone. Yeah, I think that secondary account wore me out be I deleted it awhile back.

I think part of the problem is that playing the CPU gets boring and since I don't like to play online; it hinders what I can accomplish.

I like what @CDNMoneyMaker93_XBL stated about doing one thing a day. I may look into that next program.

I rarely ever finish a inning program. I understand It’s not built for everyone to complete. I have only finished 1 this year and had another within like 75k. Usually finish between 425 to 475k. Main goal for me is to just at least get to the boss pack. Two things I get burnt out on are showdowns and grinding moment/player programs.

After 2019 got burnt out and now play leagues or online rated. I like to collect Reds players when available, but the grinding year to year for fake cards in all these modes is tiring IMO

Yeah I got the first 2, but halfway on the others... it's just stale now. There are far more entertaining games. I don't see how some of these guys can just sit and parallel a player non-stop 1-5.

Yeah that’s crazy. I’ll get them paralleled up as I play whatever. The show isnt stale for me though, I just get tired of doin stuff vs the cpu. I only play the show and CoD, but baseball 75% of the time. Baseball is life to me

I think video game burnout is going to increase amongst 30-35+ adult gamers.

I’m 42 and the first console I had was NES (then Genesis, PS1-4), and gaming development has gotten so good that now it’s tough to come up with something new, or groundbreaking, or a new engine that changes the game. It feels like every new game is similar to an existing game. Wether it’s RPGs, action/adventure, fighting or sports, it all feels like déjà vu. I used to be gaga for a long, deep RPG; now, I look at the task ahead and feel dread. Every new trailer, my mind goes “this looks like this game”. E3s used to excite me.

Went from hesitating with my gaming allocated time between FF7 remake or the show, to abandoning one for weeks and grinding the bare minimum with the other to hit the 350k mark. Even with 3 days to do daily moments, I’ve missed a bunch.

On top of what I mentioned before I am mindfully of how much I am completing and how fast I am doing it.

TA 4 will be a slow grind where I am doing the conquest first and splitting it by division so build a team of all AL East player beat the 5 teams then the a NL East squad to beat the 5 NL teams and fi ished the map.

From there I should have the first player and will start the VS CPU games building a theme team for each team in the division to complete one of the VS CPU games.

I am not rushing these programs and want to enjoy just playing and not racing to get a player

Also taking a break a couple of nights and build some lego sets cause my mind needs a break from the grind

When I start this I'll probably knock out the Moments and Conquest for each division and go from there. I'm not touching the Best 'X' team on AS in a 9 Inning Play vs CPU game unless I have to do them. About 90% of the time I play these games something happens that they don't count and I'm not taking the chance of playing them and it not counting.

This is my first show since 18.

    The content has been magnificent.

However. There is little to no chance I’ll ever play as aggressively or as much again.

I feel a bit worn out from the grinding in all honesty. Been playing other games.

I miss the days before micro transactions existed sometimes. You buy the game and that’s the game 🙂

I couldn’t agree more with this. Every time they release new content, I play until I finish all of the offline stuff, then I play something different until they release more offline content. Before this year I had never played online. This year I played the one event to get that Dominguez card, but after about 5 games I couldn’t take it anymore so I just bought the card. I can’t stand playing online. It could quite possibly be the most boring [censored] I’ve ever done with a controller in my hand. To me, online play is an absolutely awful experience.
