Crossplay Comms?

Tried to play a buddy of mine online a while back. I’m on ps4 he’s on Xbox. We couldn’t figure out how to talk through our mics while we were playing the game. Is that possible on crossplay or no?

there’s no gamechat if that’s what you’re asking. your only real alternative is to use something like Discord, which is what i personally use for this kind of thing
