The new missions for Extra Innings are 30x XBHs with TN or MA cards, 20x HRs with 1B or 3B, and 20x Ks with RPs or CPs.
You can fill all but C with TN and MA 1B or 3B (all 90+ overall) in secondary positions to make it easier to get stats in both hitting missions.
CAP RPs do not count in the pitching mission. I tried that so I can double up with the Ballplayer program as well.
I got lucky and the first team that popped up for me was a 74 overall team with both hitting and pitching being in the 70s as well! I got 25/30 XBHs and 17/20 HRs in one game!
I've actually really enjoyed the extra inning games, I just find a 75-81 team. Beat a team 17-0, can't remember the team name at the moment

It does make doing dailies (like KC Pitchers that I got today) more entertaining to do rather than beat the Orioles 60-0. Even though those games do get the XP and PXP numbers up in a hurry though.

No different than all the online missions that give xp. It works both ways. I’m just glad offline players have a reason to play nine inning games.

XBHs mission is 5K, Ks mission is 5K, and HRs mission is 7.5K. And to make lineup easy, here's what I used:
99 MA Votto, 1B
96 TN Urias, SS
95 TN Moustakas, 2B
95 TN Schrock, RF
95 MA Schoop, 3B
94 MA Riley, LF
91 MA Edman, CF
95 TN Heim, C (not a 3B/1B primary) -

I don't think people lose out on XP by playing offline. I think it is easier to gain XP in offline games since most online games are low scoring which equals low XP!

I would not be opposed to them adding it for conquest and things like that. As a mainly offline player I am just glad for some missions we can do.

Some of you guys are real stuck on the offline only DD. Do you. It makes no sense why a mission should be ONLY extra innings games. That's a lot of time playing CPU games

Haha wait until the beat 30 teams on All Star/legend program comes out. This is nothing. Besides some people (like me) enjoy playing 9 inning games but hey you do you.

I think the reason they made it only extra innings is so you would have to play tougher teams. But the CPU is easy anyways. I cant hit as good as some of the guys that can score 60 runs or hit 25 xbh's, lol. But in my 5 extra inning games a threw a perfect game, no hitter and a shutout in all but one. Good pxp for my pitchers, lol.
