Prices of players - seem odd?
-
Why is it that;
Headliners. Normally all players which have been released so far come out between 35-50k at most.
MadBum is 65k
Miller at 105kWhy?
Also - when a series of players are released. Either in. WS pack or an innings boss they all hover around the same price. Sometimes only 1-2% difference. Lindor and Ver are pretty much the same price. Vlad, Morgan and Nolan were all around the same price near the end of the program too.
Is it just co incidence, literal basic economics or is something else at play?

That Miller card is absolutely amazing and his high diamond from last year was a very very popular card.
MB might just be pricey because there's not as many Signature cards as some of the other sets.

Yeah i mean. I haven’t played DD since 18 and I seem to remember Miller was the GOAT then.
I sold Kiner for him. As my leftie bullpen options needed him. I’ve tried so long with Zak Britton but the man is god awful.

MadBum is a popular card. End game pitcher for most.

I saw everyone say that. I’ve used him twice and his ERA is 12.60

No chance that card is end game. There are at least ten free cards better. Leas people playing the game means less people buying packs and some people are already keeping cards for the final collection.

Supply is lower than ever.. Will only get worse this year. There may not be cards going for a million like last year but the market is about to get rough. I would guess almost any card worth having will be 150-300k +from here on out. Gotta get used to it. Especially with all the ridiculous requirements for the collections... The supply is only goin to get worse.

Less people playing, but more free agent cards than ever on the market. Makes sense.

Right? So you look at the weekly roster updates and they create new players that go straight to free agents. Why? Why add them if they’re not on a team? Only further deepens free agents. I swear I average more than 2 free agents a pack, a lot of times it’s 3. Thank goodness I don’t pay for packs. And now most free agents are at quicksell prices.

I’ve been watching closely too since I have a large amount of stubs I’m looking to spend and still want to spend wisely. That Vlad Jr. (and Oeralta) dipped only a little bit when packs were in conquest and now they’re back up again. I suspect they fall a bit again as the daily moments reach those packs, but I don’t think the prices will get to where I thought they would.
As for Miller and Bumgarner, I’m guessing that’s people interested becuase they’re typically good cards. Most of the headliners have just been collection fillers. Maybe not from here on out

I’m still hoping to get my prime Brad Hand, his finest was soooooo good last year.

Those 2 are lefties and options right now for even decent lefties are very limited. Everyone's line ups are built to combat current meta of power righties

There seemed to be a big jump in the market after the shark map as it acted as a stub farm resulting in alot more stubs for people so they bought up alot of the inventory. The 6th inning map furthered this a bit. So at this time supply is the issue.
Once SDS injects a large number of packs into the game this will cause a big drop and balance things out. I would suspect that a flash sale is coming with the next 2 weeks.
TA4/All Time teams would be the next major program that should have alot of packs to reward and drop prices. Also look out for POTM I would suspect that the 42 series pack gets swaped out for a different choice pack likely KS 1 or 2.
