So, in other words SDS once again did nothing but cheese off their dedicated players because their amateur programming team couldn’t fix the actual exploit (I’m talking the walk method not the archetype programs)

People will find a way, always have always will. SDS needs to balance the willingness to frustrate the "normal" players and the unwillingness to let people find exploits. So far they're doing a pretty poor job.

So the supposed patch to fix what they didn’t want did nothing, and only limited players who just enjoy playing the game? Do I have that right?

You know at some point the community has to take some blame, its the community abusing the exploits and its the community rewarding the exploiters. SDS isn’t putting up 500k-1 mill bids in for a boss 30 seconds after a program or event drops.

I don’t think so. You can get good xp but my god it would take a while. And if someone did do it this way it’s not an exploit. You all can do this you know. I’m working on my 6th archetype right now. You get good xp for it. I’m haven’t counted how much but it’s 44k xp for completing the diamond archetype I believe

Edit: 6th archetype for the entire year

Well that's a design flaw, isn't it? Blame does not belong to those who find the loopholes, it belongs to those who make the decisions.

Yeah but once you hit the XP cap you can adjust sliders and rosters to get the Archetypes done quicker. Since you wouldn't be gaining XP anyway, it doesn't matter if you crank the human sliders to the max and CPU sliders to where they throw meatballs and make a massive amount of errors.

Very true. Still this can be done by all. Most people are so invested in xp does it really matter how they get it? And like I said everyone can do this. Just because people don’t want to doesn’t make it not fair

Oh I don't care if people do it that way. I don't care about the XP cap either, as I'll earn the boss pack a little over a week in like I have been doing. I was just pointing out how this Pedro was earned and sold

Yes, SDS should have fixed the flaw, its their fault for trusting the community not to exploit it, but i compare this to the honour system, unfortunately there is no honour in this community.

I see you came around and agree that the xp cap is garbage too, since everyone could grind xp and just because they don’t want to doesn’t make it not fair.

This has been my position. Yesterday was wait and see and now today I have played and I see no reason to be upset over XP cap. I also think that if people enjoy the game why do they need XP incentive to play

That's not how it's done. Say you're working the diamond, with 4 intervals of 11000 xp. When you're grinding them for the next program, you stop a couple of points before the first interval and start working another, doing the same thing you did with the first. If you had been doing this since the beginning you could have 24 hitting diamonds at the first interval, all sitting two points away from 11000 xp each, and you could do this for four programs in a row. Then you still have the pitching diamonds to work. I did this for a couple (blew a third one with too good of a game), but they're both at the final stage, and all I have left is speedster. Figured this out way too late.

Ahhhh I see you have have a [censored] ton of them on deck ready for the next program a few points shy. Then simply gain the last little bit. Ok, well I stand corrected.

Yep. Wish I had seen this a lot sooner. Been real nice to make a mil off of a boss.

It very obviously hasn't done "nothing", a whole one sold. There would be way more then that now. Just to be clear I'm very against the XP cap, but your comment is very clearly hyperbole
