Anyone Know How Event Team Ratings Are Calculated?
-
OK...so this morning I tried to get prepared for the event and made a spreadsheet to plan my team for the "Hard 90". I figured it would be nice to already have it and not have to take pictures of my roster. Got my team down to an overall average of 89. It seemed like it was way to stacked of a lineup for an event, but the math worked.
However, when I put that roster into the event it says the overall is a 96. It says Contact 91, Defense 74, Power 79, Pitching 89, Speed 73. I am completely great changing the lineup up, because I would prefer everyone to have more balanced rosters, but I am just curious how the overall team rating is calculated. Any idea?

It averages out the attributes to give you a rating for contact power speed fielding and pitching( not sure what they use for pitching - probably h9 and k9) then generates a team ovr based on those.

I guess I don't understand why it would say my overall is 96...if Contact is 91, Defense 74, Power 79, Pitching 89 and Speed 73? The average of those is well under 90. Again, I have no problem with it...just trying to figure out where the number comes from.

I hate Events like this. No Player limits; but a 90 OVR limit.
Took me 15 mins trying to tweak my roster to fit and once I got it the way it FORCED me to make it; I notice that it's 6 Innings with Quick Counts.
Yeah, I'm not wasting my time. I have over 3M in stubs; I'll just buy these cards if I need them for Mookie or the next collection(s).

It takes the attributes of the players and averages them to get the rating(contact power etc) how it takes the ratings and determines the overall, i dont know.but it does base the ovr off the ratings.
