The Game Just Gets Worse

I have been investing countless hours into this game since it released and am becoming increasingly frustrated to the point that I am starting understand why other players exploit the game. It requires so much XP to weed the inning programs which is a grind to begin with, but the moments have gotten worse and worse and become such a grind that they are not even enjoyable anymore. Many of them or a challenge to get a home run or 8 total bases against a picture of that throws nothing but singers and sliders and outside of the zone making it almost impossible and unbelievably time consuming at times. The new field of dreams player program cannot even be completed without doing a show down or playing online modes witch I don’t even find enjoyable. The pack odds are really starting to seem irrelevant when you consider one of my friends that is new to the game thought that you were guaranteed to get a headliner out of the headliners for the first month and a half, still continues to pull them very frequently and always gets the top tier picks out of special series packs like the Allstar and Field of Dreams packs for 2 to 3 of the 5 packs. I hope the devs get something figured out as I am quickly losing patience.

I agree. Nothing but laggy warping pitches for me. It isn't fun. Last resort is mobile hot spot.

It's August and the baseball season is winding down. I can't see them making any significant changes at this point. They're probably already working on '22.

Welcome to mlb the show. They will have a live stream where they say everything they are doing to make 22 better then 21. Problem is, 21 isn’t better then 20 outside of pitching. SDS is becoming EA with one exception, you don’t have to spend money outside of buying the game.

pitching is the problem and that’s why this game hasn’t been good. it’s too overpowering and i’ve been saying it since he came out there is no hitter in the game that matches 99 DeGrom

I hope they make bloop hits less common… I’m so tired of giving up hits to bad hitters because SDS decided to help them with the BS hits success rate

I don't think pitching being better has been a good thing. It has made hitting much more difficult (at least for me).

The fact that they take you up to 98 points is an obvious troll. The bozos could have squeezed in one more moment from the FOD game

No. It gets you to 98. So I did the 5 event wins. Which at least saved me from doing the last two Missions. I also did all of the Moments..

TBH. Not even sure why I did all that. Clemente doesn't even make my bench. If SDS wants guys like Clemente to perform like Clemente then they need to make Contact actually mean something.

Pitching being better is a good thing, it just exposed the flaws with the hitting engine that much more

That could be. I am just tired of 1-0 games, even the ones I win. Also tired of a homerun or nothing. You either hit them and win, or you don't and lose.

Ok. My bad. I actually meant that you don't have to play the Event.
You still need the Yankees hurts and White Sox Ks online; but those should be easy to come by; even for people that don't like online play.

pitching is the problem and that’s why this game hasn’t been good. it’s too overpowering and i’ve been saying it since he came out there is no hitter in the game that matches 99 DeGrom
My issue isn't the pitching. It is the ridiculous laggy warping pitches. On HOF, I might as well have my [censored] in my hands because I can't do anything hitting. I used to be able to score 5-10 on HOF consistently. I'm lucky to get 3 runs now. Just faced Cliff Lee and some other pitches. Lee used to be BP. Had 3 hits the whole game. Made WS 4 seasons and don't see any chance to make it this season unless I can win 20 2-1 games. HOF used to be a fun challenge, now it's a joke.
