Are you guys sure it's active? I just played a 5 inning event game and got about 2000XP. That seems low for double XP.

It is. I can tell when I’m pitching that it’s double xp. I know that for rookie, the max xp is 231 and I got 460 when I struck out the side in order.

The walk method got nerfed and there were several people crying about it the last couple of days. Nothing is more fun than IBB for god knows how long instead of playing the game normally.
