Parallel Attribute Increases For Pitcher's Velo Reflective In MPH Increases

    Has anyone noticed any MPH increases in game on pitcher's pitches when going from say Vel 96 to 99 on a Parallel 3 pitcher for instance? I'd imagine all outlier pitches are topped out at 102 regardless, however I haven't really experienced any increased mph on pitches when paralleling up various sub 99 Velo pitchers.

    I think it improves very slightly with hitting the higher velo speed more often, but it could be placebo. I’ve asked this same question a couple of times throughout the year but I’ve never gotten a clear answer. I wish SDS would clarify on it.

    Thanks for the reply.

    The MPH increase when you level up your CAP in RTTS is pretty evident, but I'm not sure the same is true in DD.

    Either it doesn’t do anything to velo/break/control or they need to fix the menu that shows each pitch velo/break/control to show the improvement... that is where I get skeptical.

    I would assume at least control would improve just because of the increase in BB/9.

    Yes, I think the attributes that are RNG dependent are probably boosted, but perhaps increasing individual pitches' effectiveness is a bridge too far at this juncture.

    I'm paralleling up Matt Harvey's BR card at the moment, and keeping an eye on the highest MPH he hits during each game along the way from VEL 96-99.
