I think you're right about Dynamic.
I haven't touched it besides the Starter one.

Went in 13-15 and hit solo shot with Vlad SR after making one out ended up Winning with a triple with Riley greene then a full count bomb with Miggy with 10 or 11 outs left.

I beat it first try going in 12-15. It was 15-15 for like 11 outs straight until I subbed in Mondesí and laid down a quick bunt. Then hit a rbi double with Vlad Sr. I def did not want to have to try again lol

I feel like the hitting window for Ryan is all sorts of messed up, I'm never this late on fast balls lol

I never claim to be good, but I can always do some damage on rookie (just like most folks). the first mission was get 1 hit off Ryan on Rookie...ROOKIE to break up a no hitter. Swung and missed on 9 pitches and was late...not just late, but very late. no way that was on rookie. I usually play All-Star and am early on fast balls, but I couldn't touch him. Waste of 500 stubs. won't be going back to try to finish it.

I went in down 2 runs and failed. I couldn’t touch him. Tied the game with a 2 run HR with 4 outs left then struck out 4 times.

I went down 2 as well. Hit a HR to go down by one but didnt get close to scoring after. No way I will be doing that again.

I’ve been complaining about showdown for two days now. It’s BS. But all the SDS White Knights come riding in and tell me how easy it is and I’m just bad at the game. The rigged sliders are a major turn off. Don’t pretend it’s rookie or veteran just display a message “fluctuating sliders intended to induce losing will happen during showdowns” on the loading screen. Just be honest about it.

Two tries, the fastball has a weird release to it for sure. Then he throws a change down the middle that triggers that noodle swing animation because I am about 10 seconds ahead of the ball arriving. The bearded version of Joey Gallo saved me going in 12-15 and hitting a 3 run HR and game winning single.

I loaded up on lefties which made it a little harder in the mini games as most of those starters were lefty. Harper was a beast for me. In the final showdown I did some bunt cheese with Lofton and Rollins. Got them both on base and then did a double steal. From that point it was just timing up the fastball with my big bats - Harper and Vogelbach

I was down 5 going in and actually scored 5 runs the first 5 batters. Then it seemed like the clamps were put on. I did eventually beat it with like 7 or 8 outs left but more painful then it needed to be

Just because some of us like the mode doesn't make us SDS white knights lol. Get over yourself. This boss felt harder than most.

I was gonna ask in my own thread, but I'll ask here instead.
I beat the Showdown on the first try, but I was lucky I guess. My MVP was of all things a right handed catcher named Eric Haase believe it or not. In the entire run, he hit 7 HRs and 99 Vladdy managed none.
Anyways, I faced Nolan twice in the showdown. Once on Rookie and once on Veteran. Was it me or did that 102 MPH fastball look like it was coming in at LEGEND speeds? I've seen legend online and I swear it was screaming in at mach speeds.
I have a sneaky suspicion that they played with the sliders this time in the Ryan moments of Showdown to make hit pitches seem faster than they actually were.

My guess is they gassed him up so people will go buy him because of the upfront negative appeal to his pitch rep. But now having people jump in to showdown and face him, I think the goal was for players to walk away and go “wow he’s nasty, I gotta go buy him!”

Haha, that's how mine played out as well. I got it from 11-15 to 14-15 with two runners on fairly easy. Then I struck out like 6-7 times in a row.
Funny thing is that I then loaded the bases and hit a contact swing grand slam to win.

I will only attempt the SD if I'm near the end of the program and there isn't many days left. I'm not putting up with the BS they pull in that mode if I don't have to.

Ya got to 15-15 with about 10-11 outs left. Couldn't touch the ball. Tried bunting when I got down to 5 outs left and just pop ups to Cather. I hate Nolan Ryan
