Update Broke the Game?

I've been hitting BOMBS that aren't carrying, and my runners are constantly getting picked off 1st.
What the hell did they do?

Bro i haven’t posted anything but have been reading a lot of ppl on different threads about this. I played some BR, Event and Conquest yesterday. My son was watching and in all three game modes there was a hit I smoked, one P/P that he got up and was like “yea dad that’s gone”.
But was a fly out. Like not even warning track fly out. I shut it off after that and haven’t touched it since. I want no part of this right now

I only use normal swing.
Contact swing is an emergency swing that’s rarely needed.
Also, they adjusted contact swing in the PREVIOUS update, not the latest one.

Yeah, it’s not normal swing has been nerfed hard and runners hesitate A LOT more.

I just played an event game, paused to enter my bullpen to warm up a player and while I was still in my pause menu the hame resumed and my opponent got to pitch with all of my bullpen menus in the way..... thankfully it went away after he got his three outs but man was that a weird bug

Pickoffs have gotten WAY too easy, even on 95+ STL players.

All I use is normal swing. Even in 2 strike counts
If I NEED to get a runner over/in, with 2 strikes, I might go to contact. That really depends upon how much I’m struggling to hit.
I honestly think they should get rid of contact and power swing, because batters always swing hard lol.

Was there a game update yesterday morning or was it just server maintenance? I never saw notes on it...but the game just seems so weird now.

I've heard of this happening to other players, so it's definitely a bug.
